When you think of family, what do you picture? who you spend time with, who you love? no. i picture tony working at P.F. Chang’s, the falls location. when i walked in desolate and hollow, with nowhere to go, i turned to the only place i felt like would treat me as one of their own. like a mother goose treating me as one of the goslings, a tiger mama treating me as the cub. the mongolian beef reminds me of the home cooked dinners my mom used to make before she abandoned me at the fire department doorstep (i was 17 by the way) and i cannot fathom the sheer joy brought upon me when i hear the words “welcome to p.f. chang’s how can i help you today!” by none other than tony santi (who i presume to be the reincarnation of the buddha) i was lost, but now im found, PF chang’s saved me from becoming the person i feared the most. an unloved person
