Nunzio's - Miami

From the hot bread and the fresh salad they bring, the spinach soup, the veal Parmesan with Alfredo sauce, and the chocolate mousse at the end. I've always been in love with this place. So sad to hear it's closed. It was the best of the best authentic Italian. Will be missed

It's permanently closed and such a shame as this was perhaps the best food and atmosphere in the neighborhood. Been coming here for years and will miss it!!

THE END OF AN ERA OF BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES 1974 TO 03/25/2022. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO NUNZIO'S SINCE 1976 WHEN THEY WERE ON SW 97 AVE CORAL WAY CONTINUED GOING AT SW 40 ST 114 AVE UNTIL THEIR LAST DAY WHICH WAS YESTERDAY 03/25/2022. MY HEART ACHES TO NO LONGER HAVE BIRTHDAY, ANNIVERSARY, RETIREMENT CELEBRATIONS AT NUNZIO'S. I ALWAYS REMEMBER GILDA NUNZIO, TWO BEAUTIFUL LOVING PARENTS THEIR 3 SONS WORKING DILIGANTLY UNCONDITIONALLY TO MAKE THE RESTAURANT A SUCCESS. AND A SUCCESS IT WAS. UNFORTUNATELY FOR US , BUT FORTUNATELY FOR ROBERTO THE OWNER, WHO DECIDED TO RETIRE AND CLOSE THE RESTAURANT. AFTER HIS MOM DAD PASSED AWAY, HE MADE HIMSELF A PROMISE TO CONTINUE THE FAMILY BUSINESS AND THAT PROMISE HAS BEEN FULFILLED. IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO RELAX AND ENJOY LIFE. What can I say... my wife and I have visited Nunzio's since 1974. They used to be in a small little place on 97th Ave. and Coral Way. It was a hole in the wall, red and white checker table cloths, and the lines on Friday were quite long. I am a little sad cause I heard that the restaurant is closing its doors, and I know that there will never be another place like it, but I am sure it is for the best, and wish the owner the very best. Will miss it for sure... especially the red sauce... none like it.

I just read my favorite restaurant in the world is closing. Not much to say except 'thanks for the memories ', actually Great Memories my family and I have enjoyed for generations. We wish you well for eternity. Mangia!!
