Novecento - Brickell - Miami

Fast and tasty. Up, but relaxed. We had a family dinner surrounded by young couples and groups who got cocktails and didn't feel out of the place. Steak from the grill was perfectly cooked, Risotto was rich, tasteful and warm. I'll go.

I feel like she just doesn't care much about food or drinks. We have the bottomless brunch drinks and the red and white Sangria that are used like fruit stamps. The **** Mary was a tasteless supermarket mix. I had the Rock Steak Benedict and while the egg was perfectly cooked, the Rock Steak simply tasted carbureted. The court came cold and seasoned. The side salad was good, but why not potatoes with brunch?

The best empanadas I’ve ever tried! Delicious steak with mashed potatoes. Incredible staff. Beautiful part of Brickell!

Seafood risotto was tasty but very soupy and light on seafood. 2 shrimp, 3 calamari rings and a few. Small bites of octopus. Service was very slow throughout even though it was not crowded.

When we got to the restaurant we were not greeted politely. Then as we were walked to our table for 4 we were sat at a tiny table where there was an empty restaurant or tables that were designed for 4 people. When we asked for a larger table, it was met with confusion and resistance. However after a few minutes of back and forth we were finally given a suitable table for 4 people. The server was more suited to work at a diner and not at a restaurant that is trying to compete with other Brickell establishments. Overall, don’t go if you have any expectations for a suitable dining experience. Argentinian Applebees at best.
