Local gemWe stumbled upon this restaurant hidden in the El Nuevo Siglo supermarket just outside the touristy area of Little Havana. It seemed to be full of locals, the food was very simple and authentic and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were really friendly too!

This is a hidden gem, but bring Google translate. The staff here is great and they have menus in English but they aren’t very descriptive. The good news is with a little effort you will have a real Cuban meal. The family loved it (even the kids) and we left satisfied. It’s well know by the locals and that’s how we found out about it. A lot of imitation Cuban food on the block but this is the real deal.

Large tasting Cuban meals at very cheap trips. They can also get fresh vegetables, meat and bakery. for many years. highly recommended.
