Bidrage med feedbackThis spot is located right by a gas station but don't be surprise when I tell you how good the food is, OMG! It is tapas style , very flavorful , and authentic. You are also able to select a bottle of wine and they charge $10 to open it while you dine. They have a variety of tasting menus and a great lunch menu.Yadira was such a great server and had great recommendations.I would recommend getting the croquetas, their paella, and their octopus ! The vibe is very traditional and a good place to bring your family.
El Carajo is a local staple and if you haven't made it out here, I recommend you do. It's a beautiful little hole in the wall restaurant that's in the rear of a gas station....yes.. a gas station. Now before you say huh? Hear me out, it's a locals favorite and you're safe if you make reservations because it does become busy. Seating is limited as they have high top seating, table seating, and seats at the bar. El carajo also has take out as well if you order ahead. This Spanish wine bar/restaurant has over 2,000 wines to choose from. The staff here works very hard to make your experience special and memorable. Antonino helped us out with probably one of the best colada's I've had. The Manager Erlane is hilarious and definitely goes out of her way to make sure you and your party are enjoying the experience. María Antonia helped us select the perfect wine to purchase and served us the wine flight they offer. Yadi was our server and helped us choose our tapas. Croquetas De Jamon Serrano, Pulpo Al Ajillo, and the meatballs. All great selections and recommend!
If someone told me I'd find amazing eats at the back of a gas station I'd tell them they are crazy.... But it's true! Despite its odd location, this is the best place for tapas in Miami! It is quaint and has an intimate vibe. There is a huge wine selection and you can select a bottle to have with your meal at an excellent price. The menu is full of delightful authentic Spanish tapas. There is an assortment of small tapas to larger meals and tablas the meat tabla is our favorite to share. Service has always been top notch. Be sure to make reservations if you're coming in on a weekend.
I alway love going to this place. It 's a wine /tapas restaurant in a gasoline station on SW 17th Avenue and US1 in Miami. Florida. The ambiance is alway whatever you want it to be. You can dress up or just hang with friends. Tonight we got there with no reservation. You really do need one. The place is small but they found us two chairs at the smallest bar ever. A perfect, incredible, amazing time was had by all!The waitress, Lydia, was amazing. She took time to make sure my husband understood what wine to pick (a red) and she expertly knew that a red sangria was in my future. We picked the Combinacion Meson . With cured pork loin, Serrano ham, Spanish chorizo and manchego cheese. It came with olives and candies nuts. Yum!We also picked the Albóndigas which are angus beef, pork and chorizo meatballs. The meal came with a small but delicious sour dough artisanal loaf of bread. My husband soaked up the sauce that came with the meatballs with this bread. Such a great taste. We finished with the Crema Catalan . It is just the perfect amount of sugar. For a dessert, it 's really well done. I get this every time I go there. If you have never come here, please come. It is an incredible place to experience. The bar only has four chairs (I think) but always moving and always fun.
What a fantastic Cinco de Mayo afternoon! The atmosphere, the food and don't forget the wine. Great, great, great
