Table 1 Espresso - MEREWETHER

This is essentially a "car wash cafe". That being said, it is of a high standard in cuisine, and clearly very popular, with many tables full every time I have been there. I have two criticisms. Firstly, there are no small options on the menu. All the meals I have had have been huge servings. I guess there's more profit in big. I spoke to the manager about this.Secondly, the cheap furniture is tired, damaged and needs to be replaced. The car wash is getting sloppy too. I started travelling down from the Upper Hunter for the car wash and cafe, but no longer.

This place was excellent, the staff were lovely and attentive with a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. The breakfast was huge, hot and very very tasty.The coffee was strong and hot, just like we ordered.The bonus is the car was washed while we ate...just wonderful (the car wash is a separate entity to the cafe but forms the same complex)Well worth a stop for breakfast..one of the better ones we have been to.

Love this cafe. We went as a large group for breakfast and everyone's meal looked amazing. We made healthy choices but there was plenty on offer to indulge. Will definitely be going back.

The food is great, but, the milkshakes are absolutely amazing. The salted caramel popcorn shake was fantastic, I'm so glad I listened to the waitress who served us.Be warned you may have to wait a bit of time for a table.
