Lola’s Southern Cuisine - Medford

So delicious!!! Definitely worth a try. Found this place because my dad has wanted collard greens for awhile now! Can't wait to go back, very convenient that it's like take out style.

My first time there, of course I didn’t know what to expect. The woman behind the counter let me know she’d be right with me since I had been waiting in line while she was busy preparing other’s food. I appreciated that. It’s obviously a family-run business and that’s very admirable. It was so cute seeing the little toddler daughter behind the counter interacting with her mother. Anyway the food was very tasty and the woman did not skimp on anything, not even the oxtails. The prices are on the high side, but the portion sizes are respectable considering that. I will go back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be in the Medford NY area of Long Island

This is one of those spots that everything is delicious. The smothered turkey is my favorite, great flavors on all the food, always fresh good prices and good portions friendly staff, only complaint is there's none closer to Port Jefferson!

Great southern comfort food taste. The fried chicken is plump, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. They give sauce on the side but you probably won’t use it, honestly not needed. Mac and cheese is on point and cornbread is sweet as candy. I highly recommend.
