Marigold Thai - Mechanicsville

I've eaten thai all over the world and though this is not the best at everything they are far, far, far above average This is a truly great little find, small and friendly, family run, and just to make the point a toddler will visit you at your table, very polite and cute. Food is authentic and excellently executed with good variety Unlike the other place in the area, the service is friendly and efficient and they will give you what you want or need without a fuss. The hot and sour soup is exceptional and worth mentioning as are several unique dishes. They have a curry that is to die for. Try this great little find, you'll be back. Moderate price, probably low for thai.

I been to that restaurant for five years straight! Let’s me you that their food are the best. It still tastes the same as always. Best sever ever!!! The spicy noodle soup is a must try. Spicy fish, marigolds fried rice and the pad Thai noodles. Everything just so good!

We walked in and were greeted warmly and directed to a booth. Our waiter, DJ, was AWESOME. He answered questions about the menu with ease and humor. He recommended future dishes based upon what we ordered tonight. The fried dumplings were unlike any we've had before. They were light and delicious! The food was very tasty, delivering on what the menu promised and more. We both have lunch for tomorrow. We have found our favorite Thai restaurant in Mechanicsville!!

Price went up, taste going down. Basil fried rice's color wasn't like before it was darker brown. The taste is bland too. Guessing cooker changed. I'm a little bit disappointed.
