Bidrage med feedbackMy family often eats dinner at this local Mechanicsville favorite. The food is very yummy and has vegetarian options as well as the usual Italian cuisine. They have several rooms, a couple open dining rooms and two closed off rooms that can be transformed into one large room. The service is always friendly and even on incredibly busy days, it's always timely. I tend to get the spaghetti with marinara sauce with a side salad, or a sub. I will sometimes treat myself to a BBQ chicken pizza. My husband loves the lasagna. This restaurant is very dear to us as it was the location of our first date, and almost 2 years later, our wedding rehearsal dinner. Speaking of which, Anna and her staff provided awesome service! My husband and I were given 2 options for how they would serve the large crowd, family style, in which we would pick 2 main dishes such as lasagna and spaghetti or a limited menu, where we would pick 5 options for our guests to chose from. We decided to go with the limited menu. We didn't select fries or salads or any other sides for the menus but the staff was gracious and allowed the guests to order them. For a guest list of 27 people, the staff did a remarkable job and everyone left full and happy. This wasn't unexpected as both of my sisters and their husbands had their wedding rehearsal dinners here in the 1990s and were pleased. The food is always plentiful, I always have leftovers when I order spaghetti and often when I order a sub as well. They also allow adults to order from the children's menu and allow couples to share an entre. Great Mechanicsville restaurant!
We had a really good pizza last night! We're picky as how we like our pizza and our server was very good about making sure it was done exactly as we ordered.
My first time eating here. I got take out. I was disappointed before I left the parking lot. The salad looks awful. Yellow Lettuce. It 's going in the trash. I 'll recycle the styrofoam. Essentially, I 'm recycling the salad too because it 's not edible. 6 pieces of ravioli for $17.00. A homecare patient recommended Amna 's. She said they eat there all the time. This is my first and last time getting food from Anna 's. It was a waste of time and money. Not enough food for one person. The receipt said to call for issues w/the food. I called and waited while Anna, the owner came to the phone. She offered to make me something else, but I wasn 't turning around. I was already half way back to Short Pump, tired, and had just seen two homecare patients. Ultimately, I told Anna I 'd just post a review. She responded by saying Reviews, it 's always the reviews. Thank you. She hung up without allowing me to utter another word, but not before confirming that the ravioli dinner is 6 pieces for $17.00. My questions would have been how many are in a kids meal for $12.00? I 've had better treatment from management at a fast food restaurant. So, a yellow inedible salad (Do the count the croutons too? lol), 6 pieces of ravioli for $17.00 , not enough food for one person, and poor service from management. I 'll go where I ve been going. Napolli 's in Short Pump. Yes, Anna it is kind of about the reviews, the customer and service.
Local Italian restaurant, good food. I had a salad with shrimp and tiramisu for dessert. It was very good. One suggestion! Instead of crackers, serve bread with the salads.
Dietary restrictions: I have a wheat allergy and they were very careful to not contaminate my food. I had several options of gluten free meals to choose from which is rare in most restaurants. Food was delicious.
