Asian Moon - Massapequa Park

Unfortunately, my most recent experience at this restaurant was not up to par. Despite being told there would be a 20-minute wait, my party ended up waiting 50 minutes before being seated. It was a busy Saturday night, but honesty about the wait time would have been appreciated. The sushi rolls my husband ordered were disappointingly small, with an excessive amount of rice to make them appear larger. The portion of veggie fried rice was also small for the price. The appetizers tasted like frozen spring rolls, were mushy, and lacked freshness. The dumplings were tiny and the portion size was small. The service was lacking, as we were seated in a corner near the kitchen and hardly saw our waiter after our food was delivered. Although we appreciated the quick service, it was clear that nothing was made to order as the food came out so quickly. I used to love this place when it first opened, but the quality has significantly declined and the price no longer justifies the experience. Overall, a disappointing meal.

Overpriced and lacking in flavor, except for being overly oily.

I am a big fan of Asian Moon when it comes to traditional Chinese restaurants. I have tried everything on the menu and enjoyed every dish. The sushi is consistently fresh, there is ample parking, no long waits, and quick and accurate deliveries. The only downside is that it is on the expensive side, which limits how often I can dine there despite my love for the restaurant. Overall, I give them four stars.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food is off the charts delicious!!! Chef Sam is amazing and our waitress, May, makes you feel like family. From sushi to pad Thai, this restaurant has everything.

The atmosphere at this Asian Moon location is very lively and the staff attentive and responsive to your food allergy concerns. Our waiter Kit was very friendly with everyone. The food without fail delicious and eye pleasing. Our group enjoyed drinks including warm Sake, specialty drinks and satisfying dinner entre.
