Bidrage med feedbackWe had tagliata and galletto as main course. Tagliata has nothing to do with the pictures shown in TripAdvisor. I was awaiting a thick high piece of meat but received kind of bistecca less then 1 cm high. Not a tagliata but a bistecca cut in a few pieces. Galletto had a special spicy recipe but was very dark and I was reassured it was normal. But actually it was bitter, therefore burnt according to my taste. The waiter was not friendly.
A friend had been telling my husband about this place for some time, and finally we got to try it for ourselves last Sunday. The restaurant is a typical rural Maremma house, with a big patio for summer barbecues and impressive wooden ceilings. We tried 2 Antipasti, local vegetables and meat with tasty crostini and fried courgettes, then had Pici with bacon and cheese (me) and fried fish (my husband). Everything was tasty and we finished every mouthful! I knew the desserts were good so I had a pistachio tiramisu and it was spectacular! With a bottle of white wine from the area the check was 66€ , which I think is fair. Will definitely recommend it and come back when I have the chance, perhaps to see it in summer.
Excellent food, well presented and friendly staff. Our first visit was slightly rushed, as they needed our table for a reserved party but they still looked after us very well. Returned two days later, with reservation, to enjoy at a more leisurely pace. Lesson learned: book early and be sure to ask for an outside table.
Posto incantevole, con parcheggio e facile accesso. nessuna barriera architettonica. molti tavoli interni ed esterni. posto pulito e ben mantenuto. servizio cortese e professionale, multilingue. cucina raffinata, oca e anche veloce. ottimo cibo, abbondante e ben servito. ampia scelta di vini. prezzo molto competitivo (per i prodotti serviti il prezzo è modesto.
Siamo andati a cena ed è stata una meravigliosa esperienza, delle pappardelle con carbonara e sottolimi di tartufo. tra l'altro mio figlio è allergico al pesce e dal momento che hanno sia carne che pesce sono stati molto professionali da subito hanno gestito la situazione senza problemi sia per la cottura della pasta che per lo stufato di carne cotta naturalmente in una griglia a parte! un filetto di sangue che sembrava burro per quanto morbido fosse. così torneremo e consigliamo . congratulazioni al personale
