Osteria Grassini - MASSA MARITTIMA

Very good food and friendly staff dinner spoiled by a well worn tourist scam of over-charging on the bill. After ample discussion with the waiter manager about the the adequacy of 1kg weight of steak for two people we were charged for 1.5kg adding about 20 euros on to the bill and also charged 20 euros for a primo tagliatelle that was in the menu for around 11 or 12 euros. Shameless tourist scamming, why would an otherwise good restaurant want to resort to such petty measures for the sake of a few euros!?

As usual, Marliana and Alberto were excellent hosts. Their passion for food transpires immediately. Place is impeccably clean and atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Dishes are lovingly prepared strictly with the freshest ingredients. Marliana makes the best millefoglie one could dream of!

The food was very tastefull, but portions smaller than we are used to. We were served by a very friendly waiter. All in all a very positive experience! Would definitely recommend this place.

Consigliato per provare le pappardelle con funghi e la ragù di Siena li abbiamo provati e il secondo peposo, con vino della casa 1 dessert e caffè speso poco secondo i nostri parametri. Tutto era davvero buono, soprattutto il primo. da raccomandare.
