Shoney's Maryville

We have not eaten at a Shoneys in many years. They all went bust in our area. We always liked their brunch bar as you can get fresh salads, breakfast or lunch food at the same time. It fits all the requirements. This location was very nice and our waitress, I think her name was Jane, was exceptional. She was very attentive and answered several questions about the Maryville area.

The waitresses was very polite and was very happy to see me. I've seen other buffet style restaurants and the wait staff are not nice, they portray lots of times the customer is the problem and they let you know really quick your not wanted. This Shoney's definitely had a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The food on the buffet was very tasteful and delicious, like someone was very caring about fixing the food. I was very surprised to see meatloaf and stake on the buffet, I haven't seen meatloaf or stake on a buffet in a long time. Thank you Shoneys for a wonderful experience.

I can’t say enough amazing things about our server on Tuesday night She looks out for use every time we are there. Our drinks never run dry and our table is spotless. Lori is a saint. And a professional. A true southern lady. It’s the only reason we come to this location When others are also available. The front desk staff needs some work, I usually have to request my server because the front girl will put us in a loaded section. And the seems like a side hustle. But what do I know. I hope upper management knows what a treasure they have in Lori. She never has a problem checking ingredients for us or kids are sensitive To dyes and artificial enhancements like msg.

We love Shoney's. Ever time we've eaten here for the buffet we have never been disappointed. The servers are super nice. We went around noon and they had both the breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet available. They keep the buffet food fresh and stocked.

We eat here every 1-2 weeks for the last 3 months. Friendly energetic staff, good food you can always count on, and just great people and atmosphere. Sugee and Austin did great tonight, but we've not had a staff member that wasn't good at thier job. America at its best, no pretentious bs, just a hardy meal and good service!
