El Barril Mexican Grill - Maryville

The food here was very good. I order the chimichanga plate with three different kinds of meat. Beef, chicken and shrimp. I had never had a shrimp chimichanga before but it was really good. The chicken one was also very good. We also got carnitas and I was pleasently surprised to see that it wasn't just boiled pork in huge chunks. The meat was shredded just a bit and you could tell they had grilled it which added a nice bit of favor to it. The rice was flavorful and so were the beans. Although the beans were a little runny for my taste. The chips and salsa were average. Finally the service was exceptional. We were taken good care of and the waitress was attentive. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. Went here again recently. They were super busy but food and service were still great

The food was pretty good, not the best Mexican I've ever had but I will definitely go back. The waiter was great, friendly he joked with us. The salsa that comes with the chips is a bit spicy.

The cheese is good and so was the food. But my fajita didn't have no flavor to it and they burnt it to a crisp never say well done cause that means black as can be. Other than that I would eat here again just need to take some garlic seasoning with me so my steak has flavor lol

Great place. The waiter was funny when I ordered something that he was afraid was going to be too spicy. All in good spirits I think he was surprised. Some of the menu is standard fare and some is traditional Mexican food. I love going to the traditional side of the menu but my wife prefers the less adventurous MexAmerican food. Her very filling go to is the taco salad.

Quick service and good food with decent portions. We go regularly so some of the servers know us. Some of the servers are friendly but not all. Good pricing.
