Self check out is amazing, but... now every single time I have to hit skip bagging and can't quickly scan my items. If I buy drinks, I have to click it everytime. Then after so many times, someone has to come over and fix the machine. You make us bring our own bags, so the skip bagging thing shouldn't be there. Let us just scan our items. It is annoying how long it takes. There is only ever 1 other register open and the line is always very long. Just annoying.
Pre ordered cold cuts. 3 hour wait. I get it, it was a Saturday (changeover day). 1:45 p pickup time was given. We took our time to enjoy the day, arrived at 5p in hopes to not deal with the lines. Upon arrival, no cold cuts. Asked deli personal where the order might be. Rudely told I took too long to pickup and we could wait 45 mins for the order to be completed. Usually love shoprite, won't be returning to this gem of a location...
Tried online ordering for first time for vacation. Was told via email some deli items were out of stock, went in the store and ordered more. Got home to find the OOS items were there. Putting away the order a number of items were also missing but got charged. Went back to the store, spoke to a manager, Chaz, and was able to return the deli items and got refunded and also get the missing items . Thanks Chaz for helping rectify the situation.
Deli Workers 3 women need to be retrained on how to treat customers! EVERY time we have ever been to this deli and any one of the 3 women are there, they are the rudest most obnoxious people. They don 't even acknowledge that you are there hey ladies, your #1 priority is your customer, that is what keeps ShopRite going and keeps your job! . There are 3 choices of how to place an order and ONE choice is to be waited on when you come to the Deli Counter. We stood there 15 minutes with them not even acknowledging we were there, even though they saw us. Yes, you looked busy, but basic requirement of a customer service job is to acknowledge the customer Hi, I will be with you in a moment . Instead they just ignore you for at least 15 minutes???? Please retrain these 3 older women on how to do their customer service job, or move them to stocking shelves where they don 't need to deal with people in a people service environment, If you read all the previous negative comments, they are all about the Deli and customer service, so ShopRite, you really need to address these 3 women and their attitude towards customers! You will lose full time resident which we are customers along with vacationers! I did respond as you requested on your website, however read these reviews. Another review just came through about how rude your workers are. This store needs to retrain their workers who are in a customer service position or these workers need to find another job that doesn 't require them to interact with customers. Customers are the backbone of every store!
