This was my first time eating here. I ordered the biscuits and Gravy sampler. It was AMAZING! The biscuits were fresh and gravy was flavorful. The hibiscus cocktail was good. The waitress was very sweet. I will be recommending this place to friends. I had leftovers and ate them the following morning. This will be one of my favorite brunch spots.
Country fried steak was good! Biscuits aren’t the best though; they’re very hard.
I really wanted to like this place when I went there for their opening. Sadly the biscuits are like bland pucks. Dry, no flavor and hard. I decided to go back today for brunch with the hopes that maybe that was a fluke and their biscuit recipe improved. It did not. They got bigger and dryer. They are def not made fresh. They are not hot. The gravys were nothing to write home about. The mushroom gravy was mostly cream. The chocolate gravy is just chocolate sauce and the tomato bacon gravy is just a weird tasting tomato soup.The chicken pot pie is just a bland chicken soup with a biscuit tossed in and sadly that didn't even hydrate the biscuit. The country fried steak was a bit pricey for it being super chewy and wet. I did very much appreciate our bartender who did take the country fried steak off my bill. She was kind and the beer was good but the food is just not what I would expect when the claim to fame is biscuits.
Love their biscuits gravy drinks! The sandwiches are great too! The owners are super nice and really care about their employees and
