Landry's Seafood House - Mar del plata

Very nice place to eat albeit a bit pricey. Staff were pleasant and courteous. Food arrived timely and was delicious. I had the pan-seared redfish and my wife had the chicken breast. Got a little noisy when families started pouring in but no big deal. Portions were good. Overall a do-over.

Waiter was horrible. Mgr was great, in trying to fix the waiter mess up, however the words used by the waiter will forever be embedded in our minds (like a nightmare). Our return visit going forward, I would like to be seated with Josh as our waiter. Josh is great, he goes overboard in making sure all of our needs are meet.

Josh is the BEST! He knows the ins and outs of their menu. He explained everything very well. The service was superb. Very friendly serving staff. The food is delicious and very well made.

We had a party of 5, booked a reservation online and requested patio seating. we were a little early and since they were not very busy we was seated right away. our server seemed to have an attitude from the beginning. was very short, no recommendations and seemed annoyed when we asked questions. another server brought us waters and we ordered drinks and appetizers. kids got their sodas fairly quickly, but took about 20 minutes for the cocktails to arrive and again another server. we ordered entrees at this time and it took another 25 minutes for the appetizers to show up(45 minutes in). appetizers were decent, cocktails were good, but the entrees took another 45 minutes to show up. again brought by another server. all together we were there over 2 hours and seen our original server 3 times. entrees were horrible! steak was way over cooked and low quality. seafood pasta was cold, shrimp was rubbery. my wife picked at it and ate maybe 4 bites and seafood is her favorite! fried fish was chewy almost to the point you couldnt eat it. my father in law had a few bites, took it to go, but ended up throwing it away. this is the worst seafood i've seen at a place that specializes in seafood! and nearly the worst meal overall at any restaurant. our bill was over $220 and i told my wife we've had better at golden corral. it was a complete waste of money. service was horrible, food was horrible and the wait time was extreme! only thing good was the view of the union station lake fire show. save yourself some time and money. go else where!

Elise is a excellent server. She was friendly, courteous, I will ask for her the next time I come. My cousin was here from LA and this was his first time eating at Landrys and he really lived it, we all did.
