Gary's Fine Dining - Mar del plata

Food, staff and atmosphere were great! We will definitely be going here next time we are in the city.

Cons--Prime rib was fatty and overcooked, vegetables were clearly frozen broccoli and canned peas/green beans. Pros--The salad was excellent. The bartender drowned my gin and tonic. Nice atmosphere, and the server was friendly.

Always a great time and it's nice because it attracts the “Grown and Sexy.” Wonderful staff, good food, and the baddest band in the Lou!

The name is very deceiving. Nothing about Gary’s is Fine, they’re lucky to skate by with achieving a Dining atmosphere. First off, I’m unsure of who trained their bar staff but I ordered an Old Fashioned and got some monstrosity that had lemon and orange wedges in it, with maraschino cherries and a SUGAR RIM. Spent NYE here. Chicken salmon were moist, the corn and the broccoli were not overcooked as it has been in the past. The band was entertaining. The staff was nice attentive. The place needs to be exterminated as a couple of roaches were crawling on the bar.
