Farmhaus - Mar del plata

Went for my second time: deliciously beautiful and amazing service! I got the pre-fixe meal which had butternut squash pasta, scallops over a parsnip purée, and a tender, juicy pork over sweet potatoes and turnips. Cant wait to come here another time!

Absolutely amazing, the cook on the pork was amazing. Everything truly was fresh and well made. The Chef really knows what he is doing. The Prefix menu is a good sampling of the menu and the wine parings were right on. 5 stars on our foodie review!!!

I'm torn about this place. i will say first, the quality of the food was exceptional and i have no complaints there. had the chef's pre fixe menu with wine pairings, cheese focaccia, and pot de creme for dessert. everything was well cooked and balanced. however, the portion sizes leave a lot to be desired (especially for the price). i understand fixed menu portions are smaller sampling sizes, but this was by far the smallest pre fixe menu i have had, and i left feeling like i hadn't had a full m … – show

Excellent meal. One of the best that I have had in St. Louis. Really liked the corn soup, escarole, and pork chop. Great effort to use local and seasonal ingredients.

We only get to Farmhaus every couple years and it had been 5 years since our last visit. We usually do the chefs dinner but this time the preselected menu just didn't grab us so we ordered two courses on our own. High marks to the Ozark mushroom salad and to the shellfish cioppino. *The only bummer with the first course was that the two dishes arrived to our table 10 minutes apart!
