The Roaster Cafe - Mamaroneck

Post client consultation at Arcadia Floral next door, grabbed lunch with my Mom. Food was really good! We had the grilled shrimp and marinated lamb chops. Thankfully it was a week day afternoon, and so not too packed which allowed for me to have my stroller at the table without inconveniencing anyone. Also had the blueberry cheesecake for a sweet treat, and it was divine!

Decent spot with several misses. It's really a 3.5 out of 5. The salad was all grains and had two leaves of kale. The panini stood out, but the potatoes were very limp. The Turkish coffee was legit.

Amazing place was discovered last year. And me and my family really enjoy having delicious European breakfasts here. UPDATE: every time we visit this place there are always some mishaps, especially at busy time. Once they brought Nutella crepes instead of apple/cinnamon crepes, then forgot avocado, hard boiled eggs instead of soft boiled, and etc. And we were ok with that, cause it was solved immediately. Today morning wasn 't so busy. I found in my cucumber freshener a pieces of cucumber sticker. I asked a waitress to bring me NEW one, cause it was good. A new freshener was brought super quickly, but it was more waterish...hmmm, ok.. but I drunk and found a piece of sticker again!!! (Photos added of both fresheners). I was disappointed with the relation to customers. I always recommended the cafe to my friends, but now I will share my full experience. Pay attention what you eat and drink, please!

I didn't pick this place to eat, someone else did. Once I saw the menu options I was happy to know I could get something good. The soup and salad were wonderful but I ordered too much food and couldn't finish my plant based burger with fries. The fries which looked homemade with the skins left on, were my favorite. The waitress was very nice and everything served was done properly and with a smile. Lovely place with a lot of healthy options for beverages too. I'm not a coffee drinker but it seemed that would be a good place for freshly brewed coffee. I'm going to come back again before summer is out.

Stumbled upon using google. amazed from the find. delicious coffee. great breakfast and service is the sweetest. in the heart of mamaroneck, the rustic furniture on the sidewalk is just a tease of what you will find inside. great menu and food to too it off. must go.
