Special occasion dinner and waiter (Rob gave us great service (summaries of how food was prepared, suggestions catered to what we like, attentive to re-filling glasses, etc. . Same for rest of staff (attentive busing of table, etc Food is high quality and straightforward.

Excellent from start to finish. Our waitress made our anniversary dinner extra special and had great recommendations. We had the crab, lobster sushi roll, salad, creamed spinach, truffle gnocchi with crab, and blackened sea bass. Loved each dish and the beautiful view. Can’t wait to visit again for another special occasion!

This is one of my favorite restaurants In California in the most pristinely perfect California location available—right on the beach. Not near the beach, overlooking the beach, or always indistinct, beach views. But on the beach a few feet away from the water. The food and service are outstanding. The steak for instance, simply tastes better than most steak preparations I have had. And the variety of steaks, along with fish and shellfish is significant, as are the vegetable and potato sides. Outstanding server on 7/28/2024. Sorry I don't remembered her name, and she demonstrated a strong knowledge of the menu as well as the scotches, wines, and cocktails we considered. The atmosphere is trendy. Romantic, and family friendly, all at once. Great value for a special occasion or any time you want top notch food, service, and ambience.

I booked a table at this restaurant 10 days in advance, explicitly requesting a spot with an ocean view and mentioning that it was my husband's birthday. We were looking forward to a cozy celebration at their establishment. However, upon arrival at our reserved time, we were not seated immediately. When we were finally seated, it was not at a table with an ocean view as requested. I mentioned the birthday again and asked to be moved, but they refused. The waiter was inattentive and frequently disappeared, making us wait for long periods. Eventually, we had to get up and find him ourselves. While some dishes were presented nicely, they were placed on the table carelessly, and I even had a dirty plate. The food did not justify the high prices – it looked appealing but tasted mediocre, and I ended up with a stomach ache afterward. We were seated in a high-traffic area where people constantly walked by, making it extremely noisy, reminiscent of a German pub. Despite it being my husband's birthday, he received nothing special from the restaurant – no cake, nothing. Additionally, the restroom was poorly maintained, with tissues scattered around. The parking was a whopping $17, which is very expensive, and they even expect tips for parking service, which I don't understand – what exactly are we paying for? Overall, this experience was highly disappointing, and I do not recommend this restaurant.
