Bidrage med feedbackIt was my 4th time to dine and experience the nature farm, i keep on coming back because of the warm and hospitable services and of course for the complimentary japanese cucumber juice given by Sir Kenneth , i recommended the place and the food especially if you are health conscious. Thumbs up... even my family really enjoyed....
We went there with my family due to the good comments that my husband read. It took us more than 2hours to get there due to traffic since you will be passing several markets at calamba.. It says that it is a farm which means, there should be plenty of fruit bearing trees but what we saw there is lettuce and some chinese kangkong and some chicken. Also the chicken they serve is not as fresh as expected although their salad is good. the chocolate drink they are selling is already panis even its not yet expired. Had i known that this place is not as good as i expected, i wont go there. For those who want to visit this farm, do not expect too much and if you plan to buy their goods, you should double check it before paying. This place is not worth of a long drive..
Took their lakbay aral package and it was good to see how they are able to do farming the natural way. Their integrated farming system and no waste program is a good motivation for the surrounding communities. This a a good place to expose both kids and adults, for them to appreciate their surrounding, their environment. The fresh vegetable salad and cucumber juice filled up our empty stomachs after the farm tour, although we were expecting for more or heavier snacks. Don't forget to bring a hat or umbrella and be prepared to walk several meters or a kilometer during the tour.
Costales farm has an interesting place where you can learn and appreciate organic farming. You can have a walk around of the farm and have your lunch or snacks of fresh veggies and interesting mix of "healthy" drinks. They have packages for a day tour and overnight stay so you get to experience the place and the food... we went there as a walk in and signed up for a guided tour of their garden. They made us order our food for lunch before we walked around as they have other guests and it might take a while to prep our food... you will have your own "hut" for lunch depending on how many person you are in a group. Food was great but the coordination or delivery of food can be improved. (our dessert came in first and our tinola-last)
I was in a roadtrip with my friend and we decided to have a day trip at the costales nature farms. It was my first time to visit , although i already knew everything about this place because it is where i always order my organic veggies for my salads.Upon entering the area, (They have parking BTW, so no problem on bringing your own car.) you will be greeted by the staffs at the reception counter where you can also buy souvenirs, fresh organic veggies, and some items for planting. They offer different kinds of tours that will suit your taste, they have it all, like if you just want to see the place, or maybe stay there to relax and unwind from the busy work. They also offer different mini tours, like a a short PILGRIMAGE TOUR where in you will be visiting 7 different historic churches from the close towns, and your lodging is included to the package i guess this is good for the holy week. If you are more on the adventure-nature-thrilling side, specially for the youngsters like me or a family getaway, you can try their AGRI-ECO ADVENTURE TOUR wherein you'll be visiting different resort, rivers, falls, lakes & river rafting , around the area and next town, i forgot the other tours but i swear, the choices are so many! for one day to 3 days and nights or a week depending on what you like! and i can assure you, it's all very affordable. In our part, we choose the day tour with lunch meal. You can place your order upon the reception area, then after ordering, you'll be escorted by one of the staff to your own gazebo. While we are waiting for our food, we decided to tour around. Each gazebos are located around the lily ponds inside the farm, and even though you'll be walking around under the sunlight, you will not feel hot nor tired, because the fresh cold air will blow it away, amazing right?. while touring, you'll see their different organic plants , from herbs to root crops, to lettuce, strawberry and many more. You will also have the chance to visit the animals area, where you'll find hundred of rabbits (each has a name) , chickens, pigs and many more. Oh and did i say that they sell organic pork, eggs, longanisa too? Yes you read that right!Fast forward to our dinning gazebo, we ordered Pancit Habhab (good for 2- 3 person) and for the drink, i choose japanese cucumber shake. I swear, their pancit is the most healthy since it has different organic veggies and the very tender and juicy organic pork. The cucumber shake is very refreshing and addictive (well at least it's guilt free! fresh and organic!) They offer many other different food like, sisig, organic tapa, burgers and more! since e are just two, we choose to order 1 item only, but i'll rate their food quality/taste and cost 9/10 including the good service of the staffs. It was just a day trip tour but i enjoyed it a lot! I feel so relax from the inside and out! I will definitely go back there soon!So if you want to relax , unwind, refresh yourself or maybe a eco tour with family then you guys should visit it too! :)
