Bidrage med feedbackLoved it. A lot of coconut based seafood goodness. Portions are good. Taste is awesome. Price is budget friendly. 10/10 would come back.
Can I saw WOW!! This is the real deal! This is the kind of restaurants I expect from the Philippines. This is the original restaurant of Palaisdaan of 4 locations and a must place to visit and try. All the locals bring their foreigner families here to experience the beauty of this place. It's very beautiful here and so breathtaking. It's so worth the long drive...haha. The type of tables they have for you can be for large families. It's like a bahay kubo style or your own home. The tables are all separated to give you privacy. Also, after finishing your food, they don't expect you to leave anytime soon. You can hang out and order drinks or small appetizers. They are open from lunch to dinner. Be prepared for bug bites as this is outdoor seating; nothing is indoor with AC but it was still cool if you are under the roof. We ordered all the local foods like: Fresh ripe mango shakes always recommend Fresh buko juice and we cut it in half to eat the inside coconut Pork sisig (pork cartilage) Boiled okra Boiled eggplant Ensalada Ginataang Tilapia Laing with tuna (this was the best I have had in PI so far) Fried tilapia Inihaw liempo There was much more to try but will have to go back here again one day. They serve filtered water. They provided kalamansi and Thai red peppers as garnish with soy sauce. It was delish with many of their foods. I will have to do that back home!! Customer service was excellent as well as the food. We cleaned house on all our dishes! Can't wait to come back here to try the rest of their dishes. A must recommend place to go!
The place is nice and quite, food is good but it can be perfect coz our supposedly freshly grilled liempo is cold. Staff are good and very helpful.
I've eaten here twice, on both my visits to Tayabas, and this is my favorite restaurant in the province (which is saying a lot, as Graceland is in Tayabas and their restaurant is incredible as well). We were there with the whole family (about a dozen of us) and ordered half the menu. I can't honestly say what I loved about the meal other than the grilled tilapia, which was amazing, but it was all fantastic (sisig, adobo, sinagang, pansit, crispy pata... you know, the standards, and all delicious). Getting the attention of the staff isn't easy. Don't get me wrong: they're terrific and hospitable, but busy as hell. The place is definitely understaffed. So when you order, be sure you get it right the first time, including drinks. I strongly recommend this restaurant for Americans visiting the Philippines. Like Graceland, this restaurant caters to locals, not tourists, but you'll love the food, not to mention the novelty of having your meal on a floating raft. Incidentally, if you order tilapia they'll scoop it right from the pond upon which you are floating: fresh as can be.
Good food, nice place! I like inihaw na may gata, sinigang na hipon. green mango shake
