Bidrage med feedbackWe had a delightful brunch in a charming house with a lovely view. The family atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owners were very friendly. The food was delicious, especially the duck and macarons. The only downside was that the coffee was not good. The prices were very reasonable for the nice selection of small but tasty dishes.
A friend suggested this restaurant as a lovely spot for dinner and to watch the sunset. It did not disappoint! We savored escargot, duck confit, lamb, and crème brûlée. Our server was fantastic, charming in both French and English, and provided service with a touch of flair. This is a great place to unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal, not ideal for a quick dining experience.
Friendly, professional service, best lachs pasta je. creme Brûlée absolutely divine. beautiful view with view of the sea and mount orford
We've been here for years, and the family recognizes us when we walk in the door. if one of the French-speaking employees welcomes us, they quickly find someone who speaks English to us when we get out of the well-known vocabulary! we have tried a few new things here, like a dish with salmon and cheese, the sooo good fish and cheese was not a usual combo! the terrines, pates and desserts are all homemade, they serve rabbits, escape and lamb specialties, beautifully prepared. we tried the brunch last weekend and were blown away. confit de canard and lamb on a brunch buffet? the seatangsalat, marinated mushrooms and sprouts (or was it the best of it. and we came too late and it closes and the chef himself came out and said if there was something that had gone and we wanted more, easy to ask. we want to have our high-time brunch here in the august as they were ready to give us the whole restaurant. we have every confidence that our many foreign and western Canadian visitors will be delighted with their wine map, local specialties and happy service. they have recently increased their parking space, which was much needed. this auberge is a beautiful fund at the rande of the valley the view of lac massawippi from its terrace or garden is amazing! we have been playing
My husband and I decided to visit this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon without prior planning. Despite our language barrier as we do not speak French, we faced a few initial challenges. However, we were seated at our table and warmly welcomed by the staff who were very accommodating. They were understanding of my dietary restrictions and provided me with suitable options. The staff and food were exceptional, and we enjoyed a lovely lunch in a unique venue at an affordable price. I highly recommend this restaurant.
