Bidrage med feedbackThe nest indian food I have ever had in all of my travels. The owners are the kindest people and their recipes are delectable. I can't get enough of it. Everything is always fresh. The neighborhood isn't the best but it is worth it to come to Taj. I would say this is Macon's best kept secret.
Indian Restaurant in Macon GA Located on Brookhaven Rd off of I-475 Exit 3 to GA-80 beside Walmart. Has been in place for a long time. Plenty of options with Vegetarian, Vegan, Seafood, Chicken, Goat, Rice delicacies. Bread and food cooked in a clay oven (Tandoor) available. Indian deserts and imported beer, wine available. Catering for occasions.
I've been coming here for the past year, and I have to say that the Taj continues to always deliver great quality! Each plate of food I have ordered has been full of flavor and the manager makes sure I leave full and satisfied! Will be heading back again soon!
This was my first time here and it was lovely. We ordered tandoori chicken, chicken korma, and chicken biryani and also garlic naan as well. All of this was great but the garlic naan was excellent! Portions were very generous.
I am very hesitant to eat in Indian restaurants because, how strong they use ghee and how often the workers did not know what could be done vegan or almost nothing could be done to me. this is not this type of Indian restaurant. there are several menu items that are labeled vegan. the owners know what has milk and what does not. they even make totally vegan naan without butter when they ask. I enjoyed the meal I had here. I shared several vegan dishes with friends. every dish comes with rice, but we also ordered vegan naan. it was eating a lot. my favorite was the Samosa-Chaat-Attizer. there is only one samosa, but it is surrounded by a really tasty species of warm kichererbsalat. all the things we have were very good.
