Dovetail Macon

Our dinner at dovetail was really great! the food and service were exceptional! our waiter, caleb, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. his recommendations for eating and drinking were at the point. we started with the gaps and deviled eggs and both were excellent. we shared the house salad and the scallops, and the scallops were perfectly cooked! we also shared the sea bass entrée and it was also cooked to perfection! and whoever made the Romesco sauce, it has already made it! we highly recommend dovetail: great eating and great service.

Would go again, had no ingredients for a majority of the mocktails, constantly a friend with alcohol turned off completely when the server hit a non-alcoholic beer. should have known better. especially after we have explained to make a low cocktail. a shirley tempel with a quarter of an ounce of wodka would have suffocated instead of an alcohol-free ipa taste beer. eating was phenomenal, but more expected, with how the community speaks this place.

Visited in Spring 2022 Brought friends who had never dined at Dovetail before. Our server was excellent and the food relished by all. Putups are a must do for the table (or the cheese board can't go wrong with either). I love the scallops however they are prepared and this time was no exception.

Staff was excellent. Food was terrific. The cheese board to start and cracked pie for dessert great combo.
