Novelty Cafe - Luang Prabang

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy cocktails with George the Dog. The staff member who speaks English is extremely helpful and welcoming. The brownies and cheesecake are delicious, and the coffee is excellent.

This restaurant is a great spot to get some work done or read in peace in the morning or afternoon. They offer a wide variety of coffees and juices, as well as a delicious snack and breakfast menu. The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you want a more natural and open atmosphere to relax, unlike some other cafes.

I love that this restaurant reuses bamboo straws. The open kitchen, bookstand filled with books, imitation wooden floor, and chill electronic music give the place a cozy living room vibe. We began with a delicious pineapple-apple-carrot-ginger juice. For our main dishes, we tried the vegan baguette with grilled eggplant, bell pepper, zucchini, and hummus, as well as the couscous salad dressed with olive oil, with a refreshing hint of mint. Delicious and healthy sandwiches, which came with a fresh salad with a great citrus vinigarette dressing. Came back for two visits during our time in Luang Prabang, excellent service and food both times.

Love the place! Great coffee. You can do book exchange. Porch seat is the best, especially when it rains as it gets really cool windy.
