Del Taco - Livonia

I was so excited because this was the first time I’d ever been to a Del Taco. Multiple people had told me how good the carne asada fries were. The meat on top of them looked like canned dog food. It also took them 20 minutes to make our tacos and fries because only 2 kids were working while the other ones ran around talking and taking pictures and videos of themselves instead of helping their coworkers.

This was my first visit to a Del Taco. Their service was amazing!! The food selection greatly exceeded my expectations. My Original Del Taco was good. Fresh, lots of ingredients and the shell was crunchy and UNbroken, as hard shells should be. My Crunchy Fish Tacos were too spicy for me, sadly. The battered fish itself was good but, I would prefer it w/o the salsa that came in them that I was unaware of. Overall, I would have to give them a them out if you haven't and see for yourself!

Despite knowing this location was low quality doesn’t live up to the top notch other Del Tacos I’ve visited. I had a hankering this location was right across the street from Costco that I needed to visit for gas. Ordered in app, when I arrived there was about 5 employees sitting in the dining room 3 behind the counter. Was greeted promptly by one employee behind the counter asking me what I wanted. After waiting 10min for my food with no other customer in the store another employee rudely asked what I needed. Upon review of my food, the chili cheese smothered tamal had no chili unmelted cheese. They also failed to put a fork in the bag (no silverware in lobby) Also one of my tacos was completely unwrapped in the bag. Don’t come to this location !

My picky niece loved the food! They were a bit short staffed but still managed to get our food done very quickly! Very friendly staff! Everything is very good and fresh, and high quality. We really like the mini shakes because they're the perfect size!

Stopped for a quick bite to eat for lunch after a doctor appt. Never been here before and it was quite a surprise. Hubby and I tried the salads and they were really quite good and filling. My son got a burrito and he enjoyed it as well. Would recommend and come back again.
