So Moon Bowl Sushi - Livonia

I ordered the Rainbow Bowl and found the food to be delicious. However, I was extremely disappointed with the portion size. The picture on their website was very misleading. If I had known how little food I would receive with this bowl, I would have chosen a different dish.

The sushi at this restaurant was fantastic! The service was quick and welcoming. I tried three different sushi rolls and they were all delicious. In addition, I also ordered the fried avocado and I highly recommend giving it a try.

The food was delicious! We ordered sushi, an amazing Ramen, a chicken Yakisoba, and fried rice. This Asian fusion restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic and tasty options. We will definitely be returning!

The sushi here is really good so I wanted to come back and try an entree but I am highly disappointed. This is the teriyaki salmon entree but it?s literally two thin slices of fish on a bed of thinly sliced veggies. Also, the rice had some sort of black residue on it. It was not worth my money. I also had to go back in to ask for soy sauce and utensils.

It's good food, just the sushi just isn't as good as other places, the fish just doesn't have the right twang to it, I don't want to say it isn't fresh, because I've eaten it about 20+ times now and never had any issues, and I obviously like it to keep coming back. The only other gripe I have is the sushi rolls have the end pieces falling apart, the rice is not rolled/packed correctly, and the shape and balance inside the roll is inconsistent (on the end pieces). I like the food, and the price on most items is fair to good value, but the things I mentioned above are consistent, and 5 star would mean I have no negative comments. I will continue to purchase from here, and will change to a five star if I stand corrected.
