La Parrilla - Lisle

I have no idea how this place is rated as high. eating is usually contaminated with only the hot salsa with heat or spice. the chicken in the plate was good and the margarita was decent (not magnificent), but otherwise still tasted like Mexican food. the service is also extremely slow. the one tries his best, but we had to go and get our bill after we wait over half an hour. there need to be much better options in Naperville/Lisle.

Good the taco dinner has an extra meat option, making the taco's really stuffed! many taco options friendly attentive service many options on the menu that deserve to be tried!

We wanted to try something local so yes, we googled Mexican restaurants near us as we were traveling through. So glad we did. I had the al carbon (broiled steak tacos but first. Let's talk about the guacamole. It was so fresh and delicious. Chunky and creamy at the same time with fresh onions and tomatoes and I'm not explaining it well. Picadillo taco dinner for my husband and throughout he kept saying we are coming back. The salsa that came with the chips was a little smoky and tasty. Beer was cold and the service was superb. The gentleman (owner? He was the waiter and barman and maybe helped cook? Who took care of us was attentive and helpful and very nice and friendly. It's not fancy and it was perfect. Really enjoyed the food and the service. Guacamole, two steak tacos, 2 taco dinner and 4 beers were $50 with tax.

Margaritas are wonderful! Made with fresh fruit not fake sugary mixer. I got the chicken fajitas and they were so good! Service was great too! My new favorite Mexican restaurant! I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu!
