Bidrage med feedbackGreat food. Ready when I called for it. Got exactly what we ordered and prices reasonable. Parking was a bit difficult as the Square was full
Food is average but not great for a Chinese and it is quite expensive as are the drinks, but Lisdoonvarna is a tourist spot so that may be why. Hence this place always seems to be pretty quiet. That said we did eat here twice so not bad overall
Called on holiday with 10 year old grandson. Ordered duck in plum sauce and noodles, lemon chicken and rice. The duck was 60% fat and skin, the noodles were spicy, with far too much seasoning. The chicken tasted 'slimy ' and was sour. I know the sauce was lemon, but should not be sour. Maybe we are spoilt with quality Chinese meals in UK, but these were awful. Very dissapointed and we couldnt eat them. The restaurant smells fusty and is in need of redecorating. Attitude when I complained was not helpful, implied I was trying to get away without paying, reluctantly gave me a €11 discount.
After five weeks in Ireland, this was the first Chinese restaurant I found outside of a major city. And the food was decent and the prices good. I got the General Tso's chicken, a staple Chinese dish in the States. It was as expected, though not spicy (in the States it's spicy). The rice and chicken came out separate and I poured them together, which was a bit of a mistake because there was too much sauce for that amount of rice and chicken. But, that problem could have been avoided if I hadn't so keenly mixed everything together right away. Overall, this was nothing to write home about (other than its existence in such a small town), but it was worth going. I was in Lisdoon for two weeks, and this is definitely a once-every-two-weeks kind of place just to switch it up.
I like this place a lot and would have food from her at least four times a month. It is almost always excellent, but the service is a bit hit and miss.
