Roadside Tavern - Lisdoonvarna

This restaurant is the best place to eat in Ireland. The food is top-notch and I am thoroughly enjoying trying everything on the menu during my visit. I have been here multiple times before and each time it just keeps getting better. The dedication to perfection is evident in every dish. I highly recommend trying the hot smoked salmon or anything else on the menu because it is all delicious.

Found this gem of a place initially for a quick pit stop on the tour around the Burren and we stayed for the music. John and Kieran sang such wonderful sweet music that we stayed much longer than planned and stayed for dinner. All I can see is OMG. Do not pass by this if you are in the area. The staff are friendly, engaging and approachable. The food was second to none with very generous portions and so tastey. We stayed longer again for the atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed our unexpected night out and the entertainment.

Loved it. Had one of the best dishes I've ever had in all my days at The Roadside Tavern in Lisdoonvarna Ireland thick sliced bacon (almost ham thick), herbed mashed potatoes, and cabbage stacked together in a plate of deliciousness

Great craic! The craft beers are great, the stout is just right and frankly gives the other 'fella ' a run for it 's money. Nice stop for high- season eats with the family.

Great service, food and atmosphere! Some beautiful musicians playing during dinner topped off a lovely evening! That and the local burren stout!! Thanks for the memories! Hope to return one day.
