Ixtapa Mexican - Lake Stevens

Great tasting eating and fast service. the personal was certainly attentive, but not necessarily friendly.

Love the rice, cheese enchiladas, and I love the taco salad in the shell fajita style with bell pepper the fajita steak!!! yummm. it gives me nostalgia because I've eaten there since I was little at the 1st ixtapas in Duvall Monroe

The atmosphere was pleasant, staff attentive observing Covid protocols throughout the meal and a nice menu selection. We enjoyed a Cadillac Margarita followed by a burrito colorado. Yum. The salsa was especially tasty as was the guacamole! This is my go to place.

I had a horrible experience at the Ixtapa in Lake Stevens. The sauce on the burritos was bitter. I was charged $2.00 for sour cream that was supposed to be on the burritos to begin with. The refried beans were very watery and the rice had no flavor at all. The waitress was very cold and didn’t seam to want us there. I grew up and lived most of my life in Arizona eating and making Mexican food. This was some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I will not patronize this restaurant ever again.

Tried out this restaurant for dinner. Food was just okay for the price ~18$ an entree. The chips tasted off, like they used an odd or old oil to fry them in. Place also smelled like a chucky cheese, if that’s helpful at all. Don’t think I’ll be going back.
