L'aja - Lajatico

The site is really fantastic, a large garden with sufficient space to sit with many people. The pizza's come fast but this time one was of insufficient quality.

Questa perla nascosta a Lajatico è un vero tesoro. Si cammina attraverso il piccolo ingresso e si entra in un ambiente incantevole. La qualità delle pizze è eccezionale, alta e super fresca. Le bevande sono di lusso e il servizio è impeccabile. I bambini si divertono molto, lo spazio è fenomenale.

Laja Toscana is a real pearl and hidden charm. We have found this amazing restaurant last year when visiting Tuscany and already back then we loved so much we ate twice in a row there. But this year we came back to Tuscany to celebrate with my husband his 40th birthday and our 1st year anniversary and Lajatica has accommodate us for an outstanding dinner for 30 people served in their beautiful and very unique garden. But what really blows your mind is the food they make. Their pizzas are to die for and also very original in flavors. Planning this dinner night for my husband I was in contact with the owner of the restaurant, Lorenzo and let me tell you, his customer service and hospitality is outstanding. He even helped me to organize local taxi services so we can all go back to our villa safe but enjoy a glass or two of his delicious wines. The menu was defined and we will defo be back whenever we visit Tuscany again. So I hope to see you next year

Our dining experience at this restaurant was beyond terrible. We waited for an excruciating 1 hour and 45 minutes, only to be told they forgot about our food. Our drinks order was never taken, and the staff's attitude was appallingly rude. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to warn us about limited time, which we reluctantly accepted due to a concert commitment. Instead of apologizing for their negligence, they were outright disrespectful and repugnant. Imagine the audacity of bringing us bread after an agonizing hour, only to carelessly discard it on our table. Meanwhile, the neighboring table received impeccable treatment, leaving us feeling like second-class citizens. This place is a disgrace to the concept of hospitality and customer service. Unless you enjoy being treated like trash while starving and thirsty, steer clear of this abysmal excuse for a restaurant. Save your time, money, and sanity, and look elsewhere for a decent dining experience.

Really a super lovely place. They laying a lot work in to make it running around. Go there and feel the good mood.
