Holly's Seerhein Gastro Gmbh - Konstanz

Ordered a Schnitzel was quite good most staff very friendly! But ended with a bad experience with very rude, unfriendly treatment from the chubby dark-haired waiter)! Here is the explanation: After paying would like to take some ice on the cone but we were almost kicked out by the *chubby dark-haired* waiter, saying we could only take ice cream from outside, even though all the ice cream was also being sold inside! I explained that we had our food and had already paid for everything. Did not accept and did NOT want to sell us icecream from inside the restaurant, an absolutely embarrassing situation, unprofessional and unfriendly, not coming back.

We once strolled past the Holly 's restaurant and saw how nice it looked and decided to give it a shot. We went on a Sunday before noon and my wife wanted to try the breakfast plate which according to the menu can be ordered until noon. At 11.50am we were ready for order. But nobody came. The service was pretty slow and arrived at 12.02pm. When we ordered one breakfast plate and a Wiener Schnitzel, the waitress told us it 's too late to order the breakfast as it is now past noon. When we mentioned we were waiting for the last couple of minutes we got told we 're very strict . (Note: A couple of minutes later we saw the table she took the orders from just before us, still received breakfast). So my wife had to order something else instead and chose the Satay rice. When I got the Schnitzel, I was disappointed by its size. In Germany you usually get a decent portion, this was rather small. However it tasted very good, was very tender. The presentation of the plate and also the added potato salad seemed a joke. The salad didn 't feel fresh or handmade, it looked and tasted as the cheap 50 cent salad you buy in a grocery store to eat on the go. And that Wiener Schnitzel plate came with a hefty price of 20 euros. Something nice to mention however is the ambience and design of the restaurant itself. To sum it up: Nice looking restaurant but service slow and not forthcoming; food OK but far from special.

Food was good nothing special but not bad the waiters were really nice !

This place is very nice, spacious and lively. The waiters here is very kind and friendly. Cake and coffee are also good.

Nice and cozy restaurant with charming interior and nice terrace to the Seerhein. Food is great, also nice vegetarian and vegan options. Service really friendly and proactive!
