Waffle House - Knoxville

I have had a number of good experiences here, but I had a quite poor experience with an embittered, awful waitress tonight she kicked me out of this establishment in the wee hours of the morning for being drunk. This is ironic, as the majority of the customers at any Waffle House are drunk at any given time, but especially so between 10PM and 6AM. Apparently the fact that I would have tipped 25% did not matter to her she hates her own life and humanity as a whole so much that she simply refused to treat me with basic human decency during this particular night. Her hostility is so unlike Waffle House’s characteristic hospitality. She should be fired and should find a therapist (but it will have to be a cheap therapist, as I bet that she’s broke, considering that she considers paying customers to be beneath her, showing her intense contempt for all of those who walk in through the doors of this hallowed institution. She should be removed from her duties immediately.

The place was packed had to wait a few for a booth. Food was good and served pretty fast considering there was person in every seat no jk. Definitely would recommend this place if Waffle House is your thing. Can't say that about all of them I've been to but this one is definitely an good one.

Most times this place has been great in the past, but lately it seems to be worse. Got two meals, $9 a piece and added .50 items to our hashbrowns, plus a waffle. Order came out to $50 and the server Selena was very aggressive when questioned why it totaled so much, refused to give a detailed copy of order and told us we could eat somewhere else next time. Had an almost identical second order placed with Alesha. That one was only $22 without the waffle so something is wrong here. Also Alesha had a way more pleasant attitude than Selena. If I come I again and Selena is the server I will request another because she is not only extremely rude, but obviously stealing, or will leave if she is the only server to deal with.

How do you even rate waffle house? I know what I'm getting there. Greasy breakfast food with sub par coffee. Is it fine cuisine? No. Is it good for you? No. Is it going to change your life and make you a more wholesome person? No.Is it incredible? YES.6/10

I meet some friends for breakfast Sunday July 17,2022 and Chloe was our server and she was amazing and thank you so much for taking such good care of us.So sorry we took up your table for over a hour.
