Visited on 05.08.2015 In the evening of the second day in Klingenthal I visited the opposite ski claw on a recommendation from a hotel employee. A sign in the house informs the visitor that you have to go to the basement to visit the restaurant that flatters again because of the slope at the back of the building. There is also a fixed area where some tables were placed under parasols. At that time, only one table was occupied, so I had the free choice and sought a place in the shadow. Operation On my arrival no one was to see from the staff, but a few moments later a waiter came to my table, greeted me and gave me the menu. He then also asked if I had a drink request, but I just wanted to look into the map and asked me to take a look. While I looked at the offer of the card, he delivered new drinks to the ladies on the side table. He also supplied the family who had arrived a little later, whose bribes were very peculiar wishes, friendly and accommodating and without the special wishes even to the eyelashes. Food and drink The offer mainly includes German and regional dishes at relatively low prices. Unfortunately, the offer cannot be seen on the HP of the house. After a brief consideration, I ordered “Holzmichl Teller 2 steaks, grilled sausages, farm pastures, onions, garlic, roasted potatoes, salad” (€12,90), which was the upper end of the offer. I chose a dark yeast white beer (0.5l for 2.80 €). This was served shortly after, a little later the waiter brought cutlery and a napkin. After a reasonable waiting period, I also got the main court. On the plate were two beautiful pork steaks, on the one hand the so-called grill sausage with a lot of ketchup, on the other hand a part of the onions and bacon. In addition, the frying potatoes, well prepared with frying places on practically every piece. They were fried without bacon and onions, but there were enough of both on a steak. The meat was nicely tender and juicy and was coated at the top with grated fresh garlic, which brought a clear sharpness for the whole. Vulnerability and in my eyes the grill sausage was superfluous, a sausage that had been crosswise cut at both ends and then bathed in the frit. Ambient since I was just sitting outside, I can't say anything about setting up the restaurant. The furniture on the outside is stable, with metal frames and seating surfaces and backrests of the chairs made of green plastic panels. Cleanliness The outdoor area was well maintained and clean, even with glasses, plates and cutlery there was no reason to complain. I didn't visit the toilet.
