The Old Bank House - Kinsale

Great hotel in a great location! Very friendly staff and would highly recommend

You can't beat the location and beautiful views of the marina from this old bank building turned into a hotel.

Amazing spot for lunch right infront of a parking lot. Very clean spot and the staff were stunning. My only issue was that the tables are on top of each other

We must not be Boutique Hotel people. We stayed here two nights while in Kinsale. Our party of six stayed two to a room. One key per room. The rooms: Tiny. Our teenagers ended up in the biggest room with a King Bed and a twin. But it barely fit the King. Our full sized bag opened but was in the walkway. The bathroom needed updated plumbing. The other two rooms also had King beds. Old and not updated at all for the price. No USB or charging stations at all. We travel with an adapter that has all the USB ports we need but...the outlet that was nearest our bed didn 't work. We found one that did and made do. The Lift could barely fit two people with luggage. We made many trips to get everyone and their bags up to our rooms. Our room did have a window seat some other reviews mentioned but a view of the street. No AC but a fan. We opened the window but it wouldn 't stay open. We wanted the fan to blow in air from the outside. None of us were impressed with the rooms. I will say though that the bed was comfy. The WiFi signal was strong. Breakfast: Excellent. The cafe is tiny but they had room for our six and a second large party of seven. The service and food was amazing, everything was delicious. The staff were all fast and friendly and very good at what they do! Overall: If the Boutique Hotel experience is for you, or you travel light without many bags, then ignore my rants for this may be for you. But if you travel in a large group with many bags, you may want to skip this one. We wished we did.
