Bidrage med feedbackMy party was the only one dining in, but the restaurant was still busy with takeaway orders. They offer a variety of dishes that set them apart from other Asian restaurants. We ordered the daging kicap masak lada (pepper with soy sauce beef) which was delicious. The nasi goreng had a fantastic sambal flavor. The char kueh teow was just average. I spoke to the server in Malay and she asked if I wanted the spice level to be like it is in Malaysia. I was not disappointed with the spice level.
My family and I love this place and we've been having food from malay kitchen for past 2 years. We love it. Can't recommend it enough. I especially enjoy the karipap, spring rolls, the broth options laksa is my favourite), tasty chilli beef and the satay noodles.
Sesame chicken only has one percent tiny dried out meat. Some fillets even only has batter without a single bit of chicken. Let along the batter is dry as bark as well. Is it a joke? Fried rice instead is very wet greasy and burnt in the same time. Worst Asian food ever had in life. BTW, I’ve been to Asia and love the genuine Malaysian/Indonesian dishes there. Don’t teach me that ur food is ‘genuine food cooked by real Malaysian’ like you did to previous comment. I was fooled by it!
I love Malay Kitchen. I think they produce some really authentic Asian food. What i particularly like about them is that they sell their produce so you can make authentic dishes at home. Their Rendang, Mother Sauce, Pad Thai sauce, Massaman Paste are literally staples for me. If I'd to prepare these from scratch I would not have the time so I'm grateful to have access to their high quality products.
Absolutely beautiful food, made fresh to order right in front of you. Stay in or take out, the place was so busy but you didn't have to wait too long for your food. Price is very reasonable, well worth a visit
