The Burrito Shop - Kilgore

It's a local go to place for a good breakfast or good lunch. Very small town feel to it. I like it

I ordered a breakfast burrito with chorizo, jalapeños, potatoes, egg, and cheese. There was about a half a tablespoon of beans at just one end of the burrito. The chorizo had no flavor and when I say no flavor, I had to add what this place calls hot sauce (basically tomato sauce) to my meal to have any flavor. Even the jalapeños were bland. The waitress needs to be working in another field, maybe at a register at a gas station. There was a really nice man with his son. Several others came in after. She was taken the others orders as the man and his son patiently waited. The young boy started acting like he was eating. Another employee finally came out of the back to bring food to another table. The man finally spoke up (after about 15-20 minutes) and asked if someone was going to take their order. If someone knows of another place to have breakfast in kilgore, please share. I come to kilgore e every 3 weeks to get my nails done. I don't eat McDonald's, burger king, or any of that. Thanks in advance.

One of the best places in Kilgore for breakfast for sure.

Food was hot delicious just think the burritos could have been filled a little more.

Truly amazing. Breakfast plate waOne s outstanding and so was the menudo. Great service. You can tell how good a place when the locals go there.
