Bidrage med feedbackGreat venue for a birthday party. We rented it out for our daughters 17th birthday party and it was perfect. We will definitely consider it again in the future for a future event.
Taquiza Waco was good but the Agua frescas from the trailer next to it were bad the lemon one tasted spoiled
Love this concept of a park-like outdoor area with great trucks around and a bar with an indoor seating. Good food trucks options- chucherias Waco, taquisa Waco, oakleys rustic grill and burgertology were serving. The bar had most of the local beers, ciders and seltzers (in bottles/cans) that you can think of. Limited but good draft beer options. The indoor bar is also dog friendly. The bar can also be rented for private events.Vegetarian options: Lots of veg appes, burgers and fruit juice optionsParking: Parking is at the entrance, close to where the food trucks are parkedKid-friendliness: The bar offers some games on the garden area. Very kid friendly. Saw some kids borrow chalks from the bar to draw on the floor
Taquisa Waco is incredible. Maybe just had the best tacos of my life birria al pastor. Their hot sauce is so flavorful delicious. $6 dinner!!!!
Fiancé and I live down the street and come here for food often. We came for drinks with coworkers this past weekend and the bartender refused to serve my fiancé drinks and accused her of having a fake. We met at Baylor and she is originally from Oregon, but we have never had issues like this anywhere else in Waco. The bartender refused to scan the ID or take her valid passport. I imagine he had just never seen an Oregon ID before, but if that is the case I’m not sure I understand the refusal to scan it. This was also after he had served multiple of our coworkers drinks without even asking for ID, all of whom are our same age. When we tried to present alternative ID or suggest he hold on to the ID so we could have the police verify it , the bartender continuously cut her off and kept repeating in an incredibly demeaning tone, “I’m not going to serve you.” I understanding exercising caution as a bartender in a college town, but the refusal to verify or escalate to a supervisor genuinely baffles me. Not sure if turning away people in their mid 20s on Friday evenings is part of this place’s business plan, but if you fit that demographic and are looking for a place to get drinks after work, I’d look elsewhere.
