Our food took almost 2 hours to get to the table. Did not get all the food at the same time, 2 guests were finished with their food before the last meal was served. The server was good and the view was good, but I would not go back or recommend it to anyone
22nd St Landing is an amazingly special place. It has it all, because it is one of of the rare restaurants left in California that is comfortable yet a place for a special occasion as well, with excellent California seafood, and a waterside spectacular) view from every table. As the coast gets overbuilt with overly flashy destinations, 22nd St Landing honors historic California coastal restaurant sensibilities of excellence in cuisine one pound Alaskan crab, pasta, Chiopino, and fish grill too) , ambience with the feel that you can come down with friends for a drink after a day sailing or a special outing to a unique venue. Reminds me of a time when California consisted of lots of local style communities and the best cuisine in the country.
We had stopped going to this place about 18 months ago. The food and service had grown disappointing. We decided to give it a try again this week. We were pleasantly amazed! The food was spectacular! I had the stuffed sole, and I still am marveling at the wonderful flavors and presentation. My partner had the swordfish, which was equally delightful. We will definitely be making the 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill Bar a regular place again.
We had a group of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the ****** Mary, which was yummy (I am picky). My tuna melt was super good and the shrimp scampi was great too. Service was good and the view was fun. We had a great time.
