Bidrage med feedbackWe were excited to stay here, mostly for the waterpark feature. Which in actuality is just a water slide. Still fun and added to the 1 star I would have given this hotel. Front desk staff was friendly also. The room was terrible. It STUNK of cigarette smoke, and what I assume was some sort of air freshener to mask the smell, even tho it was supposed to be non smoking. The carpet is old and needs replaced. The chairs and couch are also old and need to be replaced. The two queen room with no windows seems like a good idea until it meets the aforementioned problems, then it becomes much more dungeon like.I liked the breakfast option being able to order ahead and pick up, but the hash browns were gross (tasteless and soggy). I 'm also mystified that this is a family friendly hotel but the lounge is the restaurant and does not allow children. So you have to sit outside the lounge and I was told service would be as if you were inside. We had to go in to get menus, go in to order and after delivery of the food we didn 't see a waitress again.
We had a great stay here. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were wonderful. We had a whirlpool room and got about six or so towels and washcloths. Lots of room to spread out and we loved the breakfast-it's made to order, which was so cool, but they also have a well-stocked breakfast bar (waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, lots more). There is a bar onsite as well. Doordash delivers here, and it was nice and quiet. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and it's a little dated, but the day to day people that are there can't be held responsible for that lol. We would definitely stay again when we're back in the area
Dont stay here! Room did not match the pictures of the room we were supposed to get. Pictures showed full kitchen 2 beds couch and recliner. Only got microwave and small refrigerator one bed no recliner. Bed was like sleeping on plywood.. Neither of us could sleep. I even tried the couch no better. He specifically ordered a room with a recliner because I have to sleep sitting up due to respiratory issues. Hot tub sprayed water all over the place. Spent a half an hour and every towel in the place to clean it up. Could hardly hear the TV unless it was full blast. Paid $230 for that. Should have asked for refund. Miserable experience. No sleep then have to drive over 5 hours to get home. Never again.
Rooms were good. Front desk was good. Breakfast was absolutely horrible. Exact same thing everyday. And the cook, worker. Was always dirty, rude, never wore gloves. Carried everything out in a big bowl, and then shoveled into bin, with no gloves. Will definitely be staying anywhere else.Rooms: Cozy, comfyFood drinks: Horrible all the way around. Eggs dripping in grease.
The room was not cleaned very well at all. Most surfaces had dust and dirt on them. There was a wet washrag from the previous guest/housekeeping hanging on the shower rod. I took it to the woman at the front desk and she didn 't seem to mind/had nothing to say about it, not even a 'sorry '.The noise was pretty ridiculous. When I arrived, there was a party going on in the back parking lot with multiple pickup trucks, many people, and lots of beer. Does North Dakota not have an open container law? I mentioned this to the same woman up front and again she didn 't seem concerned. Said that they had until 11 before they were violating noise ordinances. But they were in and out a hundred times, letting the door slam each time. The next afternoon, I thought at one point, Geez, it sounds like there 's a kids birthday party, there 's so much noise of children running around and loud-talking adults . Moments later, a rousing chorus of 'Happy Birthday ' was sung. From a room across the hall with loads of people in it and kids running all over the halls.A woman a few doors down had an attack dog that at one point took offense to something in the hall and sounding like a hell hound. The night before, when I went to discuss the party and dirty towel with the front desk woman, I heard a cat meowing over and over from another room. Again, she seemed to not care. Now, when I checked in, the woman before her was explicit that there were to be no pets, no parties, etc. So...what?The free breakfast the first day was missing about half the stuff that was supposed to be there. When a worker came out of the kitchen, he was filthy, dressed almost in street rags, and looked like someone you wouldn 't want to meet in a dark alley. Everyone needs jobs, but you have to look vaguely professional. This guy looked like a junkie. For an average of $133 a night, this was pretty ridiculous. I rented a full cabin for $100 the next night. I stayed at other nicer places with way more accommodations (cleaner ones, too) for much less. It was this, or my original booking two doors down at the Econo Lodge that literally had NO STAFF working there, only two very dazed 20-somethings who were to run both that hotel and the Super 8 next to it by themselves. So this Quality Inn was an upgrade, I guess, but that price was crazy for it being not a lot better. The in-hotel sports bar restaurant was a nice touch, though! And the bed was very comfortable. The room had nice appointments, just really needed cleaned a lot better.
