Green Room Cafe - Jaco

Great restaurant. Delicious food. Nice art. Sweet cats. Child-friendly with high chairs and a children's corner that has toys, coloring and a swing. We came to lunch with our toddler and our waitress was absolutely the best with him! She brought him toys while we waited for our food and played with him. Unbelievable!

We also wanted to go to breakfast, but couldn't find out when they opened in the morning. It says 8:00, but it was closed both times. We loved our dinner so much that we went back to lunch. Her house water is also delicious. They had live music that was fabulous and great. Very recommended. The best burgers too!

Stop here for breakfast based on reviews and not disappointed. The atmosphere of the terrace is great and very relaxing. My husband and I had every fresh juice. I had the green juice, he had the passion fruit juice. Husband had a latte that was good with a beautiful presentation. For breakfast, man had huevos rancheros, I had white Omelet, we shared banana pancakes and I had a side of sweet curtains. Husband loved the Huevos and my Omelette was delicious. Pancakes were ok- they were very dense, which was surprising. Not really “Bana Pancakes” but added pancakes with bananas – if that makes sense.

Great decoration. Much green, light, music. Ideal for vegetarians and vegans. Too long for dinner. Maybe bad timing, but we had to ask for things several times.

This place is a mini oasis tucked on the side off the main strip. Highly recommend. Vegetarian and GF options available. We had the loaded burrito, the Tico breakfast and the GF banana pancakes and they did not disappoint! The pancakes come with a sugar cane reduction (instead of syrup) and it was amazing!
