Shipley Do-nuts - Huntsville

Their kolaches are very inconsistent and rarely good. Shipley?s is my boyfriends favorite so we continue to go back but I just don?t think it?s worthy the money. Service has always been friendly and prompt for us so I gave it three stars. Today the kolaches were smashed, falling apart and seriously undercooked. The dough around the sausage felt mushy like playdoh.

Donuts are good for a chain. Was disappointed that they had no cake donuts at all which is what I was looking for. Staff was super friendly and went out of their way to say hello and make conversation

This particular Shipley restaurant, is the cleanest, well run,great customer service experience that I've had, in a very long time. They are very far from my home, but I will return, over and over again! Thank you and may God bless you and your business! Monroe

I almost never give a 1 star review but its warranted. Shipleys is a lazy attempt to sell donuts at a premium price. Lobby is closed since covid began and it's the end of 2022. Seems absurd. One would think if the new permanent format is a drive thru that in 3 years they would put a menu up showing what they have to sell, nope. Only drive thru I know of with no menu or posted prices. (Important comment, read on) What is inexcusable is charging over $30 for a dozen glaze, dozen chocolate glaze, two coffees and a bottle of milk at a drive thru only shop. What is robbery is realizing the Sat 7am donuts appear to be day old donuts. Every donut was stiff, dry and cold. We ended up throwing them away. There are other options nearby that provide better donuts, with a selection you can see to choose from, at a more reasonable price with the optional benefit of eating them inside so not messing up your car.
