Skyline Chili - Hilliard

I don’t normally review chain restaurants, but I like Skyline Chili for their burritos (who knew? ; but this location is definitely one to avoid. When you walk in, the smell of stale oil and grease permeate the interior of this place. This cannot be a corporate owned location, because corporate would never stand for such a dirty, dated, worn decor. The food was good, but cold, and it was difficult to push the food in past the odor.

I'm not going to bash Skyline Chili, but it was highly recommended by my northern friends lol. I'm just from Louisiana and to me chili has way more flavor and seasoning. Gabby was our server and she was very nice and attentive.

Stopped in on 12/30 and the place was packed. That did not stop the staff from committing to giving it their all. Sat at the bar and they did not stop pusing orders and keeping the drive thru flowing. Compared to Hillard Rome Rd. South High St. this location will be my new go to. Got three loaded cheese coneys, was made fresh and got to me quickly.

Skyline is a love it or hate it kind of place. This one had good service and friendly staff.
