El Pulpo Cojo - Higueey

We had dinner at this restaurant one night in August. The location was stunning, right on the waterfront with sofas on the sand and lights placed throughout. It was a heavenly spot at night, and I can only imagine how different and beautiful it must be during the day with the beach and sand still the same.

The Behique is one of the buffet-style restaurants at the Palladium complex. It is located next to the pool at the Hotel Palladium in Punta Cana. The restaurant is open for breakfast (7-10am), lunch (12-3pm), and dinner (7-10pm). The dining room is spacious with an outdoor terrace. Casual attire is acceptable for breakfast and lunch, but dinner requires a slightly more elegant dress code. The menu offers a variety of options including salads, pastas, pizzas, paella, gazpacho, meats, and fish. There are also live cooking stations for steak and seafood. Each day of the week features a different themed menu such as Italian, American, or Dominican. Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor terrace area.

One evening in August, we had dinner at that restaurant. It was a spectacular location right by the sea, with sofas in the sand and twinkling lights integrated throughout. It was a divine spot to dine at night, and I can only imagine it would be just as magical during the day with the same beach and sand.
