Bidrage med feedbackBeautiful place, friendly service with a smile despite very busy
Went today, and although I really enjoyed the ice cream it was the smile of the girl who served us that made the experiance. You simply can't teach people to exude friendliness
I get my kicks on Route 66 Favourites are Toffee Ripple Crunch ice cream in a two scoop tub with chocolate sprinkles. Have this with one of Charlie's awesome cakes. Or ask for a Nick Butty, go on, I dare you. There's free Wi Fi and some charging ports in the corner. Don't be surprised to wait when it's busy It's only a little kitchen and everything is made to order. Bring your menagerie or your ear plugs.
The coffee is great and the staff are nice. Various cakes, sandwiches and snacks available. There is a book shelf with some great reading and books about photography and modern graffiti. Tables and chairs outside to chill out on or sit inside and take a look at some modern interior ideas such as metal colanders as light fittings and reclaimed wood nailed to the wall. Good music too. Located in a wonderful park area next to the canal and a stone's throw from the town.
The large, cozy café in Calder Holmes Park offers cake, coffee, and ice cream, conveniently located near the canal and just minutes away from the main street of Hebden Bridge. There are two separate queues for ordering, with a cash-only option to streamline the process. Despite being busy due to the hot weather and the bustling park, the service was quick and friendly.
