Purple Parrot Seafood and Steaks

We 've celebrated our Anniversary every year at the Purple Parrot and by far it 's the most romantic and quiet place in the 'Burg. Love it and they always fulfill my special requests . They had a glass of my wife 's wine and my Sazerac waiting on me with a little table banner with our names and happy anniversary with a rose and after our meal had a desert for us with Happy Anniversary written in icing around the plate......We 'll always go there for Valentines day and/or our Anniversary...Thanks so very much and Highly Highly recommend!!! -Chris

Great place to entertain for business. Great food, great service and a great atmosphere to have a conversation.

I had heard great things about this place. After seeing the 4+star rating on trip advisor and reading the great reviews, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The atmosphere was inviting, quite but comfortable. The service was accommodating. However the food was sub par. I ordered the grilled fish of the day, which came highly recommended. The fish was definitely not fresh. Very strong fish flavor. I was unable to eat anything that was on the plate as it all had the same strong fishy taste. My son ordered the Wagyu hanger steak and he said it was good. My husband ordered the short ribs, he said it was decent. We had hoped for an awesome experience, but unfortunately we will probably not return.

Ambience is exceptional. Food was delicious. Five stars!
