Bidrage med feedbackI had the burnt ends and smoked wings for appetizer. They were both delicious. All the sauces were excellent. The best thing was the service. We were up there yesterday afternoon. I had a make server don't remember his name but he didn't a great job. Very attentive, never had to wait for anything and friendly. Clearly knew his job.
Dining here is definitely worth repeating. Everything was delicious and the selection looked very good. My only complaint is that the food was slow to arrive but the quality made up for that. The staff was very friendly and the patio is dog friendly as well.
We really liked this place. Wonderful and friendly people. Our waiter was awesome. I wish I got her name. I would definitely give her a shout out. It didn't take long to get our food. Which long waiting times at a BBQ joint is expected. At least at every BBQ joint I've eaten at. Which I'm okay with that. if the food is good. And the food was great. I wished I would've made a double order on the brisket SAMMITCH though. My only problem and it was a minimal problem was the ribs I had were a little dry. The homemade BBQ sauces cured that problem. Everything else was phenomenal. I could've married the Coleslaw it was so good. I don't even like coleslaw. The portions are more than enough. I was able to make three meals out of my order. I don't see how my son ate most of his meal in one sitting. Anyway I recommend giving these folks a try.
Driving home from North Carolina to New Orleans with BBQ cravings. Searched and found Murky Waters. My wife and I were very satisfied. Neat location in a renovated house. Lots of interesting blues art and photos on the walls. Very good food and friendly service. An interesting well stocked bar. If you are in town or on the highway this place is worth a stop
The service was a little rough, but they were having a rush so it's okay. The portions are HUGE. Everything I ordered was enough for two people. The sauces are decent (preferred the vinegar based) and the ribs were good. Smoked Yellowfin Dip was solid, although the crackers presentation were a little weird. Fried okra and collards were also both good!
